Youth Sports Overview
The Youth Athletics Division offers a number of activities for youth ages 4 to 17. Clinics are offered for youth and coaches for each sport prior to the beginning of each season as well as training and instructional classes which are offered periodically.

Volunteers
Volunteer Coaches are needed for all youth athletic programs. Applications are available at the Recreation office. Background checks will be administered to all volunteer coaches prior to being accepted as a coach. For more information contact the recreation and parks department at 843-266-0723
Adult Sports Overview
While the athletic focus of the Recreation & Parks Department is centered on youth sports, the Department offers adult softball during the spring and fall. Visit the Adult Sports page

Facilities We pride ourselves in doing our best to keep our facilities well kept. We have 7 baseball/softball fields along with a full size soccer field off Railroad Ave. We also have a gymnasium which features 2 full basketball courts. Click here for more information on these facilities and others. Our new gymnasium, located next to City Hall on Yeamans Hall Road, will be opening soon.
Senior CenterThe Senior Center is a great place to have fun, socialize, make new friends and be active in a variety of games, classes, programs, events and trips. Membership is open to folks 54 and older. The Senior Center is located at 3102 Mabeline Rd., next to the Recreation Dept.
