Senior Center

Come join us at the Senior Center! Not only does the Center offer a variety of activities, programs and events, it also offers new friendships and smiles. We are located at 3200 Mabeline Road next to the Recreation Department Gym and are generally open Monday – Friday from 9am – 4pm. Our Open House on Thursday evening (5:30pm-8:30pm) includes free line dancing, Bingo and billiards, not to mention the yummy homemade treats!

Membership to the Senior Center is free for residents of Berkeley County 54 and older. There is a $20.00 annual membership fee for folks living outside of Berkeley County.

The Center offers classes in exercise, beginner, intermediate/advanced line dance, Nia (to learn the joy of movement), computer classes and Art classes. Some of the instructors of these classes charge a nominal fee, paid directly to them on the day of class. In addition, the Center has a Singing Group, Friendship Quilters Group, Craft Group, Pinochle, Bingo, Canasta, Bridge, Game Day, Billiards, Wii Sports Competitions and a Walking Group ~ all free of charge. All you need is a desire to participate. Our members are very welcoming. Try something new; our veteran members will show you how!
