Biography
Tim has lived in South Carolina for over 25 years. Over four years ago, he and his wife found a great opportunity to build their new home in Bowen. Tim says that living in their new community has been one of the best neighborhood experiences that they have ever enjoyed. Meeting their neighbors, with young families, has been a joy; watching the kids grow up, in the short period of time, is the absolute compelling reason he wanted to do this. The sense of community they share is what inspired him to run for city council.
He ran for council because he is passionate about serving our community and ensuring our city continues to be a great place to live, work, and raise a family. With 35 years of experience in radiologic technology, both as a practitioner and an educator, he has dedicated his career to helping others and improving lives. His background in education, including being honored as Educator of the Year, has strengthened his skills in communication, leadership, and problem-solving—qualities that are essential for representing citizens effectively.
Additionally, having developed and successfully ran two small businesses, he understands the challenges that local entrepreneurs face. His business experience equips him to advocate for policies that support economic growth and ensure that small businesses in Hanahan thrive. He is committed to listening to the concerns of residents, finding practical solutions, and fostering an inclusive, prosperous community. He believes his blend of healthcare expertise, educational leadership, and business insight uniquely qualifies him to serve the citizens of Hanahan on the City Council.
