Late Payments

If you are paying a citation that is 15 days or more past the due date of the citation, you must contact our office to receive the proper paperwork to take to the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.  Failure to do so could result in your driving privileges being suspended by the SCDMV.

Traffic Tickets

If you are issued a traffic summons, you may either post the bond written on the summons or appear in court at the date and time indicated.  Be sure you understand when and where you are to appear.   NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED.

Parking Tickets

Parking tickets must be paid within one week after issuance of the fine or your fine may increase.  To contest a parking ticket, you must contact the Court Administrator's office, who will arrange a hearing and inform you when and where to appear.

Payment of Bonds & Fines

Bonds and fines for Municipal Court cases and traffic tickets may be paid at 1255 Yeamans Hall Road.  Payment must be by cash (exact change),  certified check, money order or credit/debit card.  (There is a service charge incurred for credit/debit card usage –the amount depending upon bond/fine amount) NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED!
