Welcome and thank you for visiting us at the City of Hanahan Recreation and Parks Department. We offer a wide variety of programs, parks and facilities for the enjoyment of our citizens and visitors. We take great pride in providing services that enhance the quality of life and we strive to make our community a great place to live.

MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of the Hanahan Recreation and Parks Department to provide a localized system of recreation and parks resources and services to enhance the quality of life of Hanahan residents. Our department strives to develop and maintain safe and attractive recreation and park areas and to address the leisure service needs of residents in the most cost-effective manner. We also strive to support the physical, mental, moral and economic health of our community through traditional recreational programming and special events.  We invite you to share your comments with us concerning our parks and programs.
