The Hanahan Recreation and Parks Department hosts several exciting special events throughout the year. Please see below the following special events that we offer!
Hanahan Valentine's Dance
Location: Hanahan Recreation Complex Gym, 3100 Amphitheater Avenue, Hanahan, SC 29410
Date: Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:30pm
Join us for a night of dancing, music, fun, and prizes at our annual Hanahan Recreation Department Valentine's Dance!
Concessions available for purchase.
Ages 6-12
Admission is $5.00 per child at the door. (Cash Only)
A Ceremony of Remembrance
Location: Hanahan City Hall, 1255 Yeamans Hall Rd, Hanahan, SC 29410
Join the City of Hanahan at City Hall as we honor, celebrate, and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to fight for our freedoms. The ceremony will include Hanahan High School JROTC Color Guard as well as comments from several local dignitaries. A small reception will be held afterwards for all in attendance at Yeamans Hall Gym.

Fall Harvest Festival
Location: Hanahan Amphitheater, 3100 Amphitheater Avenue, Hanahan, SC 29410
Date: Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm (Rain Date: Saturday, September 28)
Join us for our Fall Harvest as we celebrate the beginning of Fall.
There will be a Pumpkin Patch! Prices will range from $5-$20.
Live music, food/ beer trucks, axe throwing, and craft vendors!
FREE - Kids activities to include: jump castles, kids games, pony rides, face painters, balloon artists.
Hanahan Trunk or Treat
Location: Hanahan Amphitheater, 3100 Amphitheater Avenue, Hanahan, SC 29410
Date: Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 5:30pm (*No Rain Date)
Come join us for our annual Trunk or treat at the beautiful Hanahan Amphitheater! Wear your best costume for our costume contest that will start at 7:15pm on the Amphitheater stage! Ages 0-12!
We will show the movie "IF" and it will begin after the Halloween Contest, around 8:oopm.
Hanahan Red, White, and Blue Fall Festival
The City of Hanahan will be hosting the 11th annual Red, White, and Blue Fall Festival. Join thousands of people as they help us honor and celebrate our nation's veterans.
Live music, featuring Soul Fish, food/ beer trucks, and craft vendors!
FREE - Kids activities to include: jump castles, inflatable slides, games, pony rides, military displays, face painters, balloon artists, and carnival rides!

Hanahan Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Vendor Market
Join us for our annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Vendor Market at the beautiful Hanahan Amphitheater.
Meet Santa Claus, shop our local vendor market, enjoy some of the best food trucks in the low-country, and enjoy performances by our local school chorus groups and bands, and local dance studios!
FREE - Kids activities to include: pony rides, train rides, and pictures with Santa.
