Park Projects Update: MARCH 2024

Projects:
Hawks Nest Park
We are closely working with KHOPE Creative, a corporate sponsorship fundraising company to obtain sponsorships to add several amenities to The Hawks Nest and Steward St Park. We have had several meetings with local businesses about fundraising opportunities. 

Spell, Loftis & Hanahan Recreation Complex
Our maintenance continues to maintain these complexes as the season continues. This includes weed spot treatment, ant treatment, and any areas of concern. The fields have been fertilized and treated for the upcoming seasons. 

Otranto/Eagle Landing
Staff continues to maintain the cleanliness of Roma, Venice, and Manor Parks.

Steward St. Park.

Site work construction has begun on this project. Most of the asphalt has been removed. The power to the poles and existing poles has also been removed. The anticipated completion date is late fall 2024.
