A Half-Century in Hanahan

Calling all history buffs! We’re continuing the city of Hanahan’s 50th anniversary with an exciting historical lecture series highlighting the early history of the area we now call home, as well as how Hanahan became an incorporated city in 1973.

Join Hanahan Mayor Christie Rainwater, former Hanahan Mayor B. Earl Copeland, and Local Historian / Former Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler on July 27th, August 10th, and August 17th (6-8pm nightly) in the Municipal Chambers at City Hall for this three-part series that is sure to make you proud of your hometown.
